Since Christmas was in the middle of the week this year and Kase had to work, we went to my parent's house two weekends before Christmas to celebrate. We did our present giving the Friday evening that we arrived. Caroline LOVED opening her gifts and everything she got was the best thing ever.

We had a great time visiting and opening gifts. Little did we know, poor Kase was about to come down with a stomach bug and be banished to the basement (my old room) for the rest of the weekend.
