Caroline is 11 months (on 12/7/13)

It is her last month under one.

This past month she had another ear infection (her second one), a stomach bug, and celebrated her first thanksgiving.

She started eating some table foods and now will not eat baby food without bribery. She is picky in what she eats. She loves cheese.

We went to the Oak Ridge Children's Museum and she saw a few taxidermied animals. She was scared of them and kept reaching out to touch them and then quickly pull her hand away. It was fascinating to me that she knew they were not just a stuffed animal. After I told her it was ok she would quickly touch their noses and jerk away. It was very cute.

Her personality is coming out even more. She is silly and will throw herself backwards on the bed just for fun. She is smart and has figured out when you have something she might want to eat. She loves her sister and will crawl up and sit and play with her. She loves the weebles (the ones that wabble but don't fall down) and will play with that toy for quite a while. She still loves her blankets. She is very sweet and will give kisses and smiles pretty easily. She has her Princess Pea moments where she will get very upset and arch her back. She loves to be held.

She has had a little bit of a tough time adjusting to her new class. She saw one of her teachers from her last class one day and her face lit up and she gave her kisses and was so excited. I'm hoping she will click soon and love it. Although, it may just be her age. She cries when I leave her in the mornings. Even though I know she gets over it quickly and happily plays.

She waves and says "bye bye" (first official word). She also says "Hi" sometimes.

She has been pulling up on everything.

She still does not sleep. EVER.

She is a joy and we love her so very much.
