The Month of May

May has been great so far.
Some nice people at church were giving away a playhouse and I was excited that we got it! Eliza loves her house.
We celebrated mother's day with two of my favorite moms:my mom and my mother-in-law aka SuperDeb.
My mom came up for the weekend. We did a little shopping and had a nice steak dinner at home. It was nice.

Then we went over to SuperDeb's house and had a yummy dinner and visited for a while. It was a great weekend.  Kase made me a really cool picture that is a picture of both of the girls made up of tiny little pictures. Hard to explain but very cool. AND there was benton's bacon which is the most amazing bacon ever.

Being a mommy to these two cute girls pretty much rocks.

The Month of April

April seemed to fly right by. We spent it working, playing, and cheering on Kase in softball games. Here are some photos of the month:

Caroline is 4 Months

Caroline turned 4 months last Tuesday.

13 lbs 11.5 oz and 24.5 inches of super sweetness.

She is so very deliciously sweet with several fat rolls on her thighs. Yum.

She still wakes up once or twice a night.

She just graduated to 5 oz bottles and size 2 diapers. She's wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes.

She still has a lot of hair and it has gotten long. I think she may be losing a little bit though.

She is oh so sweet. She only really cries when she is very tired and having trouble going to sleep, or when she has gas.

She has a sweet gummy grin and especially lights up when she sees her favorite person: Eliza.

She laughed for the first time a week or so ago but won't really do it much. She just smiles a lot.

She coos and growls. She does not like tummy time and does not roll over. She has started grabbing things and tasting them. She likes her pacifier sometimes but not all the time. She burrows her little head under your chin when she is tired and loves to snuggle. She wraps her little arms around you and sleeps away because of this we sometimes call her our Caroala bear (you know, like Koala bear).  She rubs her head when she is tired and covers her face with her hands.

It's strange but I can't really remember her being a newborn. I know it was only a few months ago but I can't remember what it was like.  It seems that this little baby #2 is growing even faster than my baby #1. Amazing. She is such a sweet and special little girl. I am excited to see how she will grow and what she will be like. She is wonderful and I'm so glad I'm her mom.

1/3 of her first year down. Wow.

Our sweet Carebear.

Can you tell she has a drooling problem?
